It is recommended that you store your handmade jewelry in a dry, compartmentalized jewelry box to prevent components from banging, tangling, or scratching each other. Try to avoid dropping them in the bottom of your purse (#GUILTY) or leaving them around any moisture.

Tarnishing may occur from exposure to hand lotions, sunscreen, chlorine, and household cleaners so it is recommended that you do not expose your jewelry to these elements if possible.

Do not clean or swim in your jewelry! 

Because oxidation occurs from prolonged exposure to the air, it is also a good idea to store your jewelry in air-tight bags or anti-tarnish pouches. If tarnishing does occur, (which is completely normal for sterling silver) use a silver polishing cloth to gently rub and polish the darkened areas.

As with clothing, cars, homes, and anything else in life, jewelry needs maintenance. It is a good idea to occasionally clean your jewelry with mild soapy water and a soft bristle toothbrush to remove any built-up dirt and oil. Dry items with a clean, soft cloth.

DO NOT EXPOSE POROUS STONES TO CHEMICALS OR CLEAN IN AN ULTRASONIC CLEANER.

(This includes Turquoise, Opal, Pearls, Wood Opal, Agate Wood, Jet, Fossils, Amber, Howlite, Emerald, Coral, Moonstone, Labradorite, among others.)
 

Shipping

Items are shipped within 5 business days of purchase unless a customized piece is requested. In that case, please allow for 10 - 14 days for design, fabrication, and shipment of the order.

USPS Priority Mail with Tracking information is included on all shipments.

Refunds and Returns

Although Amy personally designs, creates, and thoroughly inspects each piece of jewelry before shipment, please take care with handmade jewelry items as they are not indestructible. If, for some reason, an item is damaged when you receive it or you are not satisfied, please contact jewelry@amycpyles.com to discuss an exchange within 7 days of receipt of your package.

Refunds cannot be granted for made-to-order items.

Please note that shipping costs are non-refundable and any shipping cost you may incur returning an item will be your responsibility.

Returns are only accepted if the item is received and is not as described, and we are contacted within 7 days of your receiving it. All returns must be discussed prior to return and postmarked within 7 days of that discussion.

We fully stand behind the quality and construction of our jewelry. If a piece is broken due to construction, we will repair it at no charge. For repairs or replacements not due to construction, buyer is to pay for return shipping and additional charges for materials and labor may apply.
